Jennifer signs on for the remake of Sci-fi movie - Nov 07, 2007
Jennifer Connelly has signed up to star in sci-fi movie The Day the Earth Stood Still alongside Keanu Reeves. The film is a remake of Robert Wise's 1951version and revolves round an alien who lands in Earth carrying a message for all humans: Live in peace or be destroyed. Kathy Bates is also in talks to join the cast. Shooting is set to begin in 2008 with filmmaker Scott Derrickson at the helm of the project.
