Jennifer signs on for the remake of Sci-fi movie - 2007-11-07
Jennifer Connelly has signed up to star in sci-fi movie The Day the Earth Stood Still alongside Keanu Reeves. The film is a remake of Robert Wise's 1951version and revolves round an alien who lands in Earth carrying a message for all humans: Live in peace or be destroyed. Kathy Bates is also in talks to join the cast. Shooting is set to begin in 2008 with filmmaker Scott Derrickson at the helm of the project.

Jennifer Connelly is reportedly in talks to star in “He's Just Not That Into You” with Kevin Connolly, Bradley Cooper, Justin Long,and Ginnifer Goodwin. The actress will join Drew Barrymore in the comedy ensemble, reports Variety. Drew will executive produce the film through her Flower Films banner with her partner Nancy Juvonen.
